Originally from New Zealand, Shannon caught 'the bug' after doing his first OCR race in Perth. Since taking it more seriously, he has travelled Australia competing; winning True Grit twice and Spartan APAC trifecta weekend, but also pushing the boundaries competing in the 24 hour world champs. He enjoys introducing people to OCR and trail running with Charlie (his dog) placing on the podium multiple times in both fields. He is a well-known figure in the racing scene but likes to be known as someone who will help out wherever possible.
